With the noble aim of embracing, promoting, and spreading the true teachings of the Holy Qur’an and Hadith, this Trust dedicates itself to eliminating corruption, exploitation, deprivation, and conflict from society. Inspired by the righteous lives of the spiritual saints of the Qur’anic and Sunnah-based Maizbhandari Sufi order, the Trust strives for the establishment of social justice and equity. It is firmly committed to public welfare through acts of compassion and support for the poor, underprivileged, and destitute, aiming to realize the core Maizbhandari values of universal brotherhood and unconditional love for all creation.
The following are the official aims and objectives of the SZHM Trust:
1. To propagate the knowledge and teachings of the Maizbhandari Sufi philosophy and undertake religious, social, and charitable activities for the welfare of society.
2. To enhance religious, moral, and ethical awareness nationally and globally, and to promote Maizbhandari and broader Sufi philosophy.
3. To foster and sustain harmony and friendship among followers of Maizbhandari teachings and others.
4. To establish institutions and initiatives for the dissemination, education, and research of Maizbhandari philosophy.
5. To participate in national and international discussions on various religious and social issues.
6. To organize social and cultural programs to fulfill the Trust’s mission.
7. To conduct charitable activities for impoverished and climate-affected populations, including climate refugees.
8. To ensure food security for impoverished communities and undertake necessary actions as needed.
9. To contribute to the advancement of education in Bangladesh.
10. To support ongoing efforts in improving healthcare and hygiene across Bangladesh.
11. To provide comprehensive support and assistance to persons with disabilities.
12. To help children from disadvantaged backgrounds develop their full potential through skill-building initiatives.
13. To cultivate critical, healthy, and moral outlooks among the youth, fostering their development as responsible citizens.
14. To provide financial and other forms of assistance to the poor, including the investment of Trust-owned funds and assets for this purpose.
15. To assist in the implementation of schemes, plans, or projects aimed at poverty alleviation and building a better society.
16. To ensure the protection and preservation of the environment for present and future generations.
17. To publish magazines, journals, books, pamphlets, and other printed or digital materials in support of the Trust’s mission.
18. To manage or utilize mass media, including television, radio, newspapers, and the internet, to promote the Trust’s objectives.
19. To host meetings, gatherings, seminars, conferences, symposiums, workshops, cultural and musical events to raise awareness and support for the Trust’s vision.
20. To raise awareness and carry out necessary actions to protect and uphold the rights, entitlements, and opportunities of disadvantaged communities.
21. To promote and sustain a society based on social justice, free from exploitation and discrimination.
22. To plan, implement, manage, and maintain programs and projects that support the Trust’s goals.
23. To establish, operate, and maintain schools, colleges, universities, madrasas, clubs, orphanages, clinics, community clinics, hospitals, old age homes, and other charitable institutions.
24. To engage in any business or commercial activity that may benefit the Trust’s objectives.
25. To acquire, possess, transfer, sell, or otherwise manage movable and immovable properties in the best interest of the Trust.
26. To collaborate with local, national, and international organizations to further the goals of the Trust.
27. To undertake any other relevant activities aligned with the Trust’s objectives.
28. To engage in partnerships or joint efforts with other organizations, institutions, companies, or individuals to enrich the Trust’s mission both nationally and internationally.
