Inspired by the profound saying of Shahanshah Hazrat Syed Ziaul Huq Maizbhandari (Q.) — “Look within yourself, and you will see more beautiful sights than the outside world” — Tajkia is a completely non-political, non-sectarian youth organization dedicated to self-purification and personal development. It works to promote humane and refined behavior as a standard and fosters their growth.

As part of its mission, Tajkia organizes various self-development and social service activities. To nurture the moral values of young people and equip them with essential leadership skills for the future, it conducts the Tajkia Youth Leadership Development Activity (TYLDA). The workshops cover topics such as leadership building, critical thinking, globalization, ICT, outsourcing, public speaking, correct pronunciation, and many other subjects.

In addition, Tajkia provides free medical care and medicine distribution, relief aid to flood victims, winter clothing distribution in remote areas, and other charitable initiatives.
